In the land of Georgia O’Keeffe…

I can understand why so many southwestern artists live in this land of red rocks and yellow soil. It is the inspiration for the late Georgia O’Keefe, an artist I have been fascinated with since I was a little girl.

This is her painting, Black Mesa Landscape, done in 1930. I might have driven right past this spot today.

  1. I will follow your posts with interest. I met Linda Kohanov a few years ago when she came to the Toronto area for a weekend symposium I helped to organize. She and Chris Irwin in the same arena sharing their incredible knowledge. My life changed that year. Amazing stuff. … I would love to do what you are doing. Have a wonderful experience.

  2. I love the pictures! Makes me feel like I am on the road with you. Wish I was.
I know you will have a great time on learning. The women who own the ranch and the guests are blessed to have you.
    Missing you

    1. Thank you. It was a great drive and I love this sacred and spiritual place. I’ve asked God to use me in my daily prayer. I know He does
