Pack horse training part 2

I haven’t been able to ride The Colorado horses in a couple of days, for various reasons. I got up this morning raring to go. My thoughts going to bed and my thoughts waking up are about this trip and I actually haven’t been getting that good of sleep lately, so last night I took a sleep helper that was all herbs and I woke up feeling like I had a hangover. I got on Fireball this morning and he was jumping around a little bit, he is the mustang I’m riding for the trip. So I got off and put the packs on Queeny. Then I walked them both down the road so everybody could get used to everything and Fireball decided he was not going to have anything to do with it. He would stop and pull back and the mare would keep going… She’s doing great by the way. She has such a good mind, she’s going to be a great packhorse if we need her. Fireball did not like the packs right next to him. The corners were poking him as she would try to come up behind him… they hit him in the butt. I saw what the problem was but he was going to have to get over it. Finally, when everybody was walking along and he hadn’t pulled back in a while, I got on and we hit it off through the brush. It went great and here’s some video.
