When I Ride…

No picture of the wild fire outside of Keystone Colorado because my phone has been dead for two days. What an  adventure! So we made it over Georgia Pass which had amazing views and when we came across the other side we saw a wildfire near Keystone. Planes, helicopters, and I hear now the National Guard has been called in to fight it. What it means to us is that the trail has been closed in a couple of sections which makes us stuck. We have gotten cell service and made calls, found friends with horse trailers and were picked up this morning to be transported to Copper Mountain, Colorado. We will miss 16 miles of the trail due to the fire but we feel very fortunate and are safe. Camping down by a river close to the Copper Mountain ski resort. We made plans but mother nature has hers! Thanks for your continued interest and support!
