I love trees. Most would think me daft, but I talk to them all day long. On this trip I get to see species I never see at home. The aspens wave at me as we ride by. I look to see if anyone else notices. I don’t think they do.I see singles and groupings of the type of tree we buy for Christmas. Well, we used to buy. I decorate cedar trees now. The thought of cutting off the top of one of these trees to decorate my home gives me shivers so I tell them thank you for being here and grow tall and strong my friend. Sometimes I just walk up to trees and pet them. That feeling of camaraderie fills me up…
