Just curious… How many hours a day do you just sit and watch your horses? For me, it’s like watching a fire, or an aquarium, or the ocean. They move amongst each other, the buddy of the moment changes, one horse is way over there and everybody else is over here. Three horses lying down, one standing guard. I love watching the dynamics shift and flow. The friendships remain the same but tolerance changes. I feel truly blessed and fortunate that I get to spend so much time walking amongst them, engaging and breathing with them. Matching steps, noticing how they notice… If I didn’t know any better this would be my year of the horse.
